Maserati GT Launch
Mike Salzwedel, our ever vibrant videographer at MyVideo, and I were lucky enough to attend the Launch of the Maserati GT at the Bay Hotel in Camps Bay yesterday evening. There was a great mix of celebrities, fashionistas, and Italian culture. Needless to say the Maserati GT is incredible.
We covered the event for MyVideo and will be posting the video as soon as its ready. You’ll get to see beautiful visuals of the GT, models, celebs and more. One of Maserati’s greatest qualities is how understated the brand is. It’s a kind of sexy, classy understatement that lends itself to being a unique symbol of prestige. You’ll know what I’m talking about when you watch the video.
I also met the guys from WorldWideCreative, Fred and Mike. I’ve been following Ideate’s blog for some time and have always been impressed with their openness, transparency and entrepreneurial learnings. These guys are passionate and smart and are doing great things for South African business. Great to finally meet you guys!

Thanks Tristan, it was indeed an awesome launch. Nothing like hanging out with a couple of ex-miss SA’s, some local celebs, a World Cup winning captain and a pretty dam good looking car. Good to meet you!

My brother had a drive in one of these recently. He said they can change from ‘normal’ mode into ‘sports’ mode. Apparently in normal mode it sounds like a deep growl then sports mode sounds more like a super bike / Ferrari.
